![]() Her career was boosted with the release of songs from the movie Tridev. During this time, she voiced songs for several Hindi films. Hence, her first Hindi song became Saat Saheliyan from the movie Vidhaata. ![]() However, this movie was delayed and released in 1985. Her first Hindi song was from the movie Rustom. Sadhana made her playback debut in a Gujarati film named Kanku Pagli. ![]() At the age of 6, she even sang the song Ek Anek Aur Ekta for Doordarshan. She has also performed at the music festival Sawai Gandharva at the age of 4. Anil Mohile introduced Sadhana to the composer duo and it was then she was in the child’s chorus of the song Pam Parampam, Bole Jeevan Ki Sargam, which was voiced by Kishore Kumar for the movie Trishna. She even knew the arranger-composer Anil Mohile, who was then arranging music for celebrated composer duo Kalyanji-Anandji. Her mother was a classical singer and music teacher. Sadhana was born on 7th March 1969 in Dabhol, Maharashtra, India to a family of musicians. She has also bagged five Maharashtra State Awards, four Gujarat State Film Awards, and one Orissa State Film Award. Sargam is also a recipient of the National Film Award as well as Filmfare Award South. Sadhana Sargam, born with the birth name Sadhana Ghanekar, is an Indian singer widely known for her creative playback career in the Indian Cinema, predominantly in Tamil, Hindi, Marathi, and Telugu films.
